Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, and Massena Hospital were recognized as Age-Friendly Health Systems by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Gouverneur Hospital has further been named among "The Best Hospitals in America" by The Leap Frog Group and Money.
The three hospitals are currently working toward gaining Magnet Recognition status.
