Joint pain and orthopedic conditions like arthritis can sometimes indicate the presence of underlying rheumatic diseases. These musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions can cause stiffness, pain, and swelling in the joints, muscles, and bones.
The Rheumatology team detects and treats rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, sarcoidosis, and various forms of spondyloarthritis, vasculitis and myositis.
The Rheumatology Department at the St. Lawrence Health Medical Campus in Canton includes an Infusion Suite.
It is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
