When to See a Doctor

It’s not always clear when to go to the doctor.  Some of us are quick to call the doctor for minor aches and sprains; others try and tough out a serious injury that requires more immediate medical attention.

You should see a doctor if you have any of the following symptoms:
  • Your injury is preventing you from completing daily activities
  • You’re experiencing pain that has not lessened over several days
  • You have swelling or bruising around a joint
  • You do not have a normal range of motion
  • Your pain is worse at night
  • You show signs of infection like fever, redness, or inflammation

You can contact our office at (315) 261-5850 to make an appointment.
If you have a serious injury, go to the emergency room immediately.
