POTSDAM, NY – The first of St. Lawrence Health System’s (SLHS) COVID-19 vaccination centers has been set up in the Fieldhouse at SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall, and clinical personnel are anticipating the distribution of the next round of inoculations on Monday, January 18.

SLHS is collaborating with SUNY Potsdam, New York State, and St. Lawrence County Board of Health in the initiative to get County residents vaccinated against COVID-19. Along with the Potsdam location, SLHS is working to establish clinics in Gouverneur and Massena.

POTSDAM, NY – St. Lawrence Health System (SLHS) is equipped with a number of Rheonix COVID-19 fast testing equipment to test samples taken from individuals who are suspect of having the disease, and from its own staff members.

To date, Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH) has four Rheonix devices, and Gouverneur Hospital and Massena Hospital each have one. SLHS has six more devices on order, and will be receiving an additional device from St. Lawrence County.
