Heart Disease - Changing Outcomes, Panel Dinner

A team from St. Lawrence Health System will present an informational ‘Heart Health’ panel dinner on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Best Western University Inn in Canton.

Panelists include Cardiologist Ricardo Benenstein, MD, FASE FACC. Dr. Benenstein, based in Potsdam, is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Computer Tomography and Nuclear Cardiology, and National Board of Echocardiography certified in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.

Family Practitioner Payam Hadian, MD, based in Gouverneur, is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine, and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, American College of Physicians: Safe and Competent Opioid Prescribing Education, and NCC for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal – Electrical Fetal Monitoring.

Cardiologist Jayaram Radhakrishnan, MD, based in Potsdam, is board certified with the American Board of Cardiology, American Board of Echocardiography, American Board of Nuclear Cardiology, American Board of Clinical Genetics, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Cardiologist Alexandru Stoian, MD, FACC, FCCP, based in Potsdam, is board certified with the American Board of Cardiology and holds subspecialties in Adult Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.

Members of the panel will discuss ways to improve and maintain cardiac health through nutrition, exercise, and therapies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions of the panel.
