This free six-week course is for those who are diabetic or pre-diabetic, or live with someone who is. Topics will include making better nutritional and physical activity choices, regularly checking blood sugar, taking medicines as prescribed, effectively communicating with your provider and family about your health, and setting goals and making a plan to improve your health and life.
"The American Diabetes Association identifies this program as meeting the Diabetes Support Initiative criteria for support programming."

Classes will be held each Tuesday, from January 7 to February 11, from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm at the United Helpers Rehabilitation & Senior Care, 205 Canton-Madrid Road, Canton.
